In the November 2, 2011 issue of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Bulletin (Vol. 45, No. 45), CBP published two notices that propose to revoke three rulings and similar treatment regarding the classification of a sky ball catch set and jingle bell wreaths and hanging decorations.
The International Trade Administration is giving advance notice that it and the International Trade Commission will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on foundry coke from China (A-570-862) and stainless steel bar from India (A-533-810), Brazil (A-351-825), Japan (A-588-833) and Spain (A-469-805) in their automatic five year sunset reviews of these orders, which are scheduled to be initiated in December 2011.

The International Trade Administration is revoking the antidumping duty order on diamond sawblades and parts from Korea (A-580-855) effective October 24, 2011, due to its determination under Section 129 of the Uruguay Round Agreements Act regarding “zeroing”. However, due to legal action, the ITA will continue to suspend liquidation for all entries, but at a zero rate.
The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative and new shipper reviews of folding tables and chairs from China (A-570-868), which sets AD duty cash deposit rates for three exporters (Feili, Lifetime, and Xinjiamei). The rates for these three are officially effective October 25, 2011, and are expected to be implemented by U.S. Customs and Border Protection soon. The ITA is also revoking this AD order for New-Tec as producer and exporter1. This revocation is effective retroactive to June 1, 2010, and is also expected to be implemented by CBP soon.
