The International Trade Administration initiated a changed circumstances review to consider whether to revoke the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on Honey from Argentina (A-357-812 / C-357-813). The American Honey Producers Association and the Sioux Honey Association, the domestic petitioners in the original AD investigation, requested the review because they have no interest in continuing the imposition of AD/CV duties.
Nucor Corporation appealed a Court of International Trade ruling affirming the International Trade Administration’s final negative determinations in three sunset reviews of antidumping and countervailing duty orders on hot-rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products from Brazil and Japan. The determinations resulted in revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty suspension agreements for Brazil (A-351-828 / C-351-829) and the AD order for Japan (A-588-846). Nucor was plaintiff-intervenor in the case.
CBP received no comments on proposed ruling revocations and modification in the Aug. 29 bulletin (Vol. 46, No. 36), said a CBP spokesman. Comments were due Sept. 28 on the three notices proposing to revoke or modify rulings and similar treatment regarding the tariff classification of chili powder blends, bearings and housings, tobacco wrappers.

The International Trade Administration and the International Trade Commission initiated the five-year Sunset Reviews of the antidumping duty orders on folding metal tables and chairs from China (A-570-868); silicomanganese from India (A-533-823), Kazakhstan (A-834-807), and Venezuela (A-307-820); and welded large diameter line pipe from Japan (A-588-857).
