Argentina Honey: ITA Considers Revoking AD/CV Orders
The International Trade Administration initiated a changed circumstances review to consider whether to revoke the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on Honey from Argentina (A-357-812 / C-357-813). The American Honey Producers Association and the Sioux Honey Association, the domestic petitioners in the original AD investigation, requested the review because they have no interest in continuing the imposition of AD/CV duties.

The ITA said it isn’t issuing a preliminary determination on whether it intends to revoke the orders at this time because the request for revocation didn’t specify whether 85 percent of domestic producers support revocation, as is required for domestic revocation requests.
If the ITA decides to revoke the orders in the final results of this review, will direct CBP to end suspension of liquidation of merchandise subject to the the AD order effective Dec. 1, 2010, and the CV order effective Dec. 1, 2011. The ITA will also instruct CBP to refund any cash deposits, with interest, for all unliquidated entries made before those dates.
