The Commerce Department and the International Trade Commission began five-year sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on cold rolled steel flat products from Brazil (A-351-843), China (A-570-029), India (A-533-865), Japan (A-588-873), South Korea (A-580-881) and the United Kingdom (A-412-824); tissue paper products from China (A-570-894); magnesium metal from China (A-570-896); and corrosion-resistant steel products from China (A-570-026), India (A-533-863), Italy (A-475-832), South Korea (A-580-878) and Taiwan (A-583-856); as well as the countervailing duty orders on cold rolled steel flat products from Brazil (C-351-844), China (C-570-030), India (C-533-866) and South Korea (A-580-881); and corrosion-resistant steel products from China (C-570-027), India (C-533-864), Italy (C-475-833) and South Korea (C-580-879).
The Commerce Department is adding a new exemption for certain door stiles and rails to the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on hardwood plywood from China (A-570-051/C-570-052), it said in a notice published June 2 announcing the final results of a changed circumstances review. In a change from its preliminary results of the review (see 2104060048), Commerce will apply the new exception retroactively to the dates that suspension of liquidation first took effect under these orders in 2017.

The Commerce Department is giving advance notice that in automatic five-year sunset reviews next month it will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on cold rolled steel flat products from Brazil (A-351-843), China (A-570-029), India (A-533-865), Japan (A-588-873), South Korea (A-580-881) and the United Kingdom (A-412-824); tissue paper products from China (A-570-894); magnesium metal from China (A-570-896); and corrosion-resistant steel products from China (A-570-026), India (A-533-863), Italy (A-475-832), South Korea (A-580-878) and Taiwan (A-583-856); as well as the countervailing duty orders on cold rolled steel flat products from Brazil (C-351-844), China (C-570-030), India (C-533-866) and South Korea (A-580-881); and corrosion-resistant steel products from China (C-570-027), India (C-533-864), Italy (C-475-833) and South Korea (C-580-879). These orders will be revoked unless Commerce finds that revocation would lead to dumping and the International Trade Commission finds that revocation would result in injury to U.S. industry, Commerce said in a notice released April 30.
