CBP has issued a memorandum announcing that the fiscal year 2011 specialty sugar tariff rate quota that opened on October 1, 2010 oversubscribed at opening moment. The pro rata percentage is 52.00666% or 0.520066.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection announces the availability of the final Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for High Energy X-Ray Inspection Systems (HEXRIS) at sea and land ports of entry for public review through November 5, 2010. Based on the final PEA, a determination was made that the proposed action will not significantly affect the human environment such that further analysis is required. Therefore, a FONSI was issued, and no Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is required.
CBP's Port of Chicago has issued a Pipeline amending an earlier Pipeline that provided guidelines for preparing Single Transaction Bonds (STBs). The earlier Pipeline is being amended in order to clarify and emphasize certain items.
