The Commerce Department is revoking antidumping duties on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Brazil (A-351-847), after the ITC found revocation of the orders would not lead to a resumption of injury to domestic industry, Commerce said in a notice. Effective for entries on or after Feb. 1, 2022, Commerce will direct CBP to end suspension of liquidation and collection of AD/CVD cash deposits in connection with the now defunct AD/CVD orders, which had been in place since 2017. Entries before Feb. 1, 2022, will remain subject to suspension of liquidation and AD/CVD cash deposit requirements and assessments, Commerce said.

The Commerce Department is giving advance notice that in automatic five-year sunset reviews scheduled to begin in March it will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on honey from China (A-570-863) and polyester staple fiber from China (A-570-905), as well as the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum foil from China (A-570-053/C-570-054). These orders will be revoked unless Commerce finds revocation would lead to dumping and the International Trade Commission finds that revocation would result in injury to U.S. industry, Commerce said.
The Commerce Department and the International Trade Commission began five-year sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on fine denier polyester staple fiber from South Korea and Taiwan (A-580-893, A-583-860); lined paper products from China (A-570-901) and pure magnesium from China (A-570-864); as well as the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on cut-to-length carbon quality steel plate from India, Indonesia and South Korea (A-533-817/C-533-818, A-560-805/C-560-806, A-580-836/C-580-837); fine denier polyester staple fiber from China and India (A-570-060/C-570-061, A-533-875/C-570-876); and lined paper products from India (A-533-843/C-533-844), Commerce said in a notice released Jan. 31.
