Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce held the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) U.S. Stakeholder Roundtable, led by Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Marisa Lago. Organized to offer an additional critical line of communication between policymakers and stakeholders, the roundtable provided invaluable input that will inform the Department’s continued discussions with the European Union.
The roundtable featured three listening sessions with speakers from industry, civil society, think tanks, and academia. Under Secretary Lago and her team heard directly from the following 12 organizations, reflecting the interests of American companies of different sizes, sectors, and communities, as well as workers, consumers, and policy researchers:

As the TTC works to advance outcomes benefiting consumers, workers, and businesses on both sides of the Atlantic, the Department will continue to seek opportunities to engage with U.S. stakeholders to ensure that the TTC’s efforts address the top challenges of the communities it serves.
