Refine Search

Search Primer

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons.

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match (e.g. "China import").

Acronyms: Use all capital letters to ensure the search is not looking for that letter sequence instead.

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., +CBP).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., -ruling).

Singular form: Always use the singular form when doing multi-word terms (e.g. "russian export control" instead of "russian export controls").

Shortest word form: When you have different word forms in a quoted (multi-word) term, you want to only include the shortest version if it is the last part of the expression (e.g., "entity list" instead of "entity listing" or "entity listed").

China Poly Staple Fiber: Final Results of AD Admin Review (2 Firms Revoked, Etc.)

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of polyester staple fiber from China (A-570-905) for six companies, two of which are revoked from the order for goods they both manufacture and export. The revocations and revised rates, which are effective November 9, 2011, are expected to be implemented by U.S. Customs and Border Protection soon.

On November 4, 2011, the House passed S. 1487, a bill to authorize the Secretary of Homeland Security, in coordination with the Secretary of State, to establish a program to issue Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Cards, and for other purposes. Since the Senate passed the same version of S. 1487 on November 3, 2011, the bill now goes to the President.

ITA/ITC to Consider Revoking Foundry Coke, SS Bar AD Orders

The International Trade Administration is giving advance notice that it and the International Trade Commission will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on foundry coke from China (A-570-862) and stainless steel bar from India (A-533-810), Brazil (A-351-825), Japan (A-588-833) and Spain (A-469-805) in their automatic five year sunset reviews of these orders, which are scheduled to be initiated in December 2011.
