Refine Search

Search Primer

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons.

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match (e.g. "China import").

Acronyms: Use all capital letters to ensure the search is not looking for that letter sequence instead.

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., +CBP).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., -ruling).

Singular form: Always use the singular form when doing multi-word terms (e.g. "russian export control" instead of "russian export controls").

Shortest word form: When you have different word forms in a quoted (multi-word) term, you want to only include the shortest version if it is the last part of the expression (e.g., "entity list" instead of "entity listing" or "entity listed").

Sunset Reviews of AD Duties on Strontium Chromate to Begin Next Month

The Commerce Department is giving advance notice that in automatic five-year sunset reviews scheduled to begin in October it will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on strontium chromate from Austria (A-433-813) and France (A-427-830). These orders will be revoked, or investigation terminated, unless Commerce finds that revocation would lead to dumping and the International Trade Commission finds that revocation would result in injury to U.S. industry, Commerce said.

Commerce, ITC Consider Ending AD/CV Duties on Line Pipe, Kegs, Innerspring Units, Etc.

The Commerce Department and the International Trade Commission began five-year sunset reviews of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on circular welded carbon quality steel line pipe from China (A-570-935/C-570-936) and refillable stainless steel kegs from China (A-570-093/C-570-094); as well as the antidumping duty orders on welded large diameter line pipe from Japan (A-588-857); diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel products from Japan (A-588-869); uncovered innerspring units from China (A-570-928), South Africa (A-791-821) and Vietnam (A-552-803); and refillable stainless-steel kegs from Mexico (A-201-849), Commerce said in a notice released Aug. 30.

US Says Exporter Has No Constitutional, Statutory Standing to Challenge WRO

The U.S. told the Court of International Trade on Aug. 23 that exporter Hoshine Silicon (Jia Xing) Industry Co. doesn't have statutory or constitutional standing to challenge CBP's denial of the company's request to remove it from a withhold release order (WRO) on silica-based products made by its parent company Hoshine Silicon and its subsidiaries (Hoshine Silicon (Jia Xing) Industry Co. v. United States, CIT # 24-00048).
