CBP has posted an updated version of its Public Automated Commercial System FIRMS (Facilities Information and Resources Management Systems) report that is organized by port code and alphabetically by company name.
On September 24, 2010, CBP issued a CSMS message stating that San Francisco’s air cargo building voicemail system was currently not working and would not be available until the week of September 27, 2010. San Francisco’s air cargo building is located at 648 West Field, San Francisco CA 94128.
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching their restraint limit or have filled their in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections: those that are at least 85% filled and those that are filled.
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of September 27, 2010.
CBP has issued a CSMS message reminding importers, brokers, and other stakeholders of the bond requirement under 19 CFR 142.4 for imported merchandise. A copy of the Single Transaction Bond (STB), being obligated for an ACE entry summary, is required to be submitted to ACE_STB@cbp.dhs.gov.
Broker Power is now issuing weekly summary reports highlighting the most active textile and apparel tariff preference levels1 from U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s “Quota Weekly Commodity Status Report.” BP’s weekly report also lists the TRQ commodities on CBP’s weekly “TRQ/TPL Threshold to Fill List.”

CBP has issued a memorandum announcing a special import quota of 14,977,489 kg for upland cotton that is provided for in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter III, U.S. Note 6 and is entered under HTS 9903.52.05. (CBP notes that this quantity is not subject to the TRQs in Chapter 52 Additional U.S. Notes 5 through 10.)
CBP has issued a memorandum announcing the opening of the fiscal year 2011 tariff rate quota on mixes and doughs, as provided for in HTS Chapter 19, Additional U.S. Note 3. This TRQ opens on October 1, 2010 and the TRQ level for all countries except Mexico is 5,398,000 kg.
