Last month, the court proposed altering Rule 74, which governs attorneys' admission to practice (see 2510270018). The amendment says that if an attorney applies to be admitted to CIT via "oral motion by a member of the bar of this court or of the Supreme Court of the United States," the application must be accompanied by a certificate issued by a "judge of or by the clerk of" any federal court or highest state court if the sponsoring attorney hasn't worked in the same firm, agency or company with the applicant for more than six months.
Relatedly, the court proposed amendments to Form 10, Form 13 and the Specific Instructions to Form 13, which reflect the changes proposed for Rule 74.
