The final rule removes the Entity List entry for Arrow China Electronics Trading Co., Ltd., which BIS had added Oct. 9 (see 2510080006). It also removes six aliases added to the Entity List at the same time under a separate entry for Arrow Electronics (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.

Those aliases are Arrow/Components Agent Limited, Components Agent Limited, Components Agents Limited, Arrow Electronics, Arrow Asia Pac Ltd. and Arrow Asia Pacific Limited.

BIS said the removals are based on a review by its End-User Review Committee and “commitments to enhance export compliance measures of all of these parties.” It also said it received information on the relationships of the six aliases with Arrow China Electronics Trading.

In mid-October, the U.S.-based Arrow Electronics had said BIS told the company it would remove its newly listed affiliates (see 2510200020), including Arrow China Electronics Trading and the six aliases. It said that Arrow isn’t affiliated with Arrow Electronics (Hong Kong), which remains on the Entity List, and that the Hong Kong company appears to be a copycat.
