Liquidation Suspended on Tires from Pirelli Neumaticos

Tires made at Pirelli Neumaticos in Guanajuato, Mexico, will be subject to suspended liquidation, as the U.S. asks Mexico to investigate whether workers at that factory are being denied their labor rights.

La Liga SIndical Obrera Mexicana, United Steelworkers, the AFL-CIO, and the International Lawyers Assisting Workers Network told the U.S. government that Pirelli isn't applying a sector-wide bargaining agreement at the factory, and instead is applying a contract specific to this factory that doesn't have benefits as good as in the sector-wide contract.
