CAFC to Hear Cases in October in San Francisco Area
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will sit at law schools and courthouses in the San Francisco area as part of its October session.

The court announced July 8 that panels will hear arguments at Stanford Law School and Santa Clara University School of Law Oct. 8; at the University of California Berkeley School of Law and UC San Francisco College of Law Oct. 9; and at the Robert F. Peckham Federal Building in San Jose and the Phillip Burton Federal Building in San Francisco Oct.10.
The appellate court said it hears cases outside of Washington to provide "reasonable opportunities to citizens to appear before the court."
