Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., a sponsor, said, “I look forward to working on a bipartisan basis with Senators Blumenthal and Blackburn to advance this bill in the Senate.” The list of bill supporters includes the NAACP, Nintendo of America, the Christian Camp and Conference Association, The Foundation United, Parents for Safe Online Spaces and Street Grace. In a statement Thursday, NetChoice said the updated version of the bill “has not meaningfully changed" the legislation "at all -- especially its privacy and constitutional problems.” NetChoice urged senators to abandon the proposal.
