His complaint (docket 2:23-cv-02206) alleges ADT made at least four telemarketing calls to his residential number, though the number was listed on the DNC registry since November 2005. The calls all included scripted sales pitches about solar products, said the complaint. ADT wanted Bertram to install and use its solar panels for a fee, but Bertram wasn’t interested and he told ADT so, it said. But the calls continued, it said. ADT has previously been sued to stop its unlawful telemarketing conduct, it said.
