CBP to Deploy Updated Entry Summary Query in ACE Nov. 4

CBP will on Nov. 4 deploy an enhancement to entry summary queries in ACE, incorporating “data elements from ACE Collections into the Entry Summary query” and moving the query “from the legacy electronic data interchange (EDI) platform to the current ACE EDI platform,” the agency said in a trade information notice released Sept. 19. Beginning Nov. 4, Automated Broker Interface filers, including importer self-filers and sureties, “will begin querying Entry Summary in ACE and will see updated input and output records,” CBP said.

CBP will hold a pre-deployment support call Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. EDT, and a post-deployment support call on Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. EST, the notice said. “Additional calls may be scheduled if demand warrants.”
