ITC to Consider Section 337 Investigation on Imported Lenovo and Motorola Electronics

Comments are due to the International Trade Commission by Sept. 18 in a potential Section 337 investigation on imported electronic devices, ir said in a notice in the Federal Register.

The request for comment follows a Sept. 1 complaint by InterDigital and its subsidiaries, which alleged that various imported Lenovo smartphones, computers and tablet computers and Motorola's Edge+ smartphone contain components that infringe on five of InterDigital's patents covering wireless file-sharing and video-sharing.

InterDigital is seeking a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
