Sensio Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its air fryers of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 8516.60.4070 and secondary subheading 9903.88.03 should be classified under subheading 8516.79.00, dutiable at 2.7% but free of Section 301 duties. #23-00152. Filed Aug. 7.

Risen Energy Co., Ltd., challenging the Commerce Department's final results and partial rescission of the countervailing duty administrative review covering crystaline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China, covering entries in 2020. #2300153. Filed Aug. 10.

URE NSP Corporation, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming it overpaid duties and fees due to an incorrect valuation of its solar products and additional tender via a prior disclosure. #23-00154. Filed Aug. 11.

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Aug. 7-13:

United States, appealing a June CIT decision upholding the Commerce Department's 0% margin for Jilin Forest Industry Jinqiao Flooring Group Co. as part of the fifth administrative review of the antidumping duty order on multilayered wood flooring from China. #23-2245. Opened Aug. 7.

Pirelli Tyre Co., Ltd., Pirelli Tyre S.P.A., Pirelli Tire LLC, challenging a June CIT decision upholding the Commerce Department's remand results in the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China, covering entries in 2017-18. #23-2266. Opened Aug. 10.
