United States, challenging inkjet printing equipment manufacturers Lexjet, Abaqa, Brand Management Group, S-One Nevada and S-One Holdings Corp.'s negligence in making false statements connected with the import of merchandise, leading to duty avoidance. #23-00105. Filed May 15.

Optima Steel International LLC, challenging the Commerce Department's final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan, covering entries in 2020-21. #23-00108. Filed May 22.

NOA Brands America Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its iron and steel products were assigned the incorrect value of $594,500, when they should be valued at $1,535,75. #23-00109. Filed May 24.

Curtis International Ltd., challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its water dispensers of Harmonized Tariff Schedule 8418.69.0120, subject to Section 301 duties, should be classified under subheading 8516.79.0000, dutiable at 2.7% but free of Section 301 duties. #23-00111. Filed May 25.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the weeks of May 15-21 and 22-28:

HMTX Industries LLC, Halstead New England Corp., Metroflor Corp., and Jasco Products Company LLC, challenging a March CIT decision finding that the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative complied with Administrative Procedure Act requirements when setting lists 3 and 4A Section 301 tariffs on China. #23-1891. Opened May 16.

Repwire LLC, and Jin Tiong Electrical Materials Manufacturer PTE. Ltd., challenging a March CIT decision upholding the Commerce Department's final results in the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on aluminum wire and cable from China. #23-1933. Opened May 22.
