Twitter and Dorsey took no position on the motion. The plaintiffs’ Los Angeles-based lead counsel asked for the venue change to reduce his out-of-pocket expenses. Trump alleges his First Amendment rights were violated when Twitter permanently banned him for engaging in constitutionally protected speech.
