Commerce Announces Members for TTC Talent Growth Task Force
The Commerce Department announced the seven people who will represent the U.S. on the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council’s Talent for Growth Task Force, a group aiming to help both sides build a better work force for emerging and existing technologies. Task force members from the U.S. include a Commerce official as well as several industry and union representatives.

“In order to be competitive on the technologies that are key to bolstering our economic and national security over the coming decades,” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said, the U.S. must “ensure we have the trained workforce needed to develop and deploy those technologies. These Task Force members will help us grow key sectors of our economy and work with our allies in Europe towards our shared goal of training our workers and creating a system of life-long learning.”
