Canada, Peru Issue AD Duty Action on Chinese Imports

Canada and Peru recently announced antidumping duty actions and decisions on certain products from mainland China, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council reported Feb. 9.

Canada renewed an AD order on certain hot-rolled deformed steel concrete reinforcing bar from China for five years, HKTDC said. Imports of the merchandise will continue to face an AD rate of 108.5%.

Peru issued an AD order on certain plain weave polyester fabrics from China, the report said. Imports of subject merchandise will be subject to an AD rate of $3.55 per kilogram for the next five years.
