Epperson, previously senior Democratic counsel on Communications, was “instrumental in expanding access to high speed internet service and making broadband more affordable,” House Commerce said. Hone, previously legal adviser to then-FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, also has experience as FTC Consumer Protection Bureau Marketing Practices Division assistant director. In that role she “litigated cases and supervised attorneys and investigators conducting consumer protection investigations,” House Commerce said.
