Democrats Ask Why Solar Companies Not on Forced Labor List
Seven House Democrats have asked the Biden administration why three Chinese solar panel manufacturers were not put on the entity list under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, as they say consulting group Horizon Advisory has reported that the three either have ties to forced labor or have signs of using forced labor.

The letter, led by Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, asks, "Why were JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., Xinte Energy, and Longi Solar not included on the UFLPA Entity List?" It also asks for more information about how the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force decided which firms to include on that list.
"We write to urge you to aggressively enforce the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act," wrote Ryan and Reps. Bill Pascrell, D-N.J.; Thomas Suozzi, D-N.Y.; Stephanie Murphy, D-Fla.; Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio; Brendon Boyle, D-Pa.; and Mike Doyle, D-Pa.
