Argentina, Brazil Issue AD Duty Decisions on China Products

Argentina and Brazil recently made antidumping duty decisions on products from China, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council reported June 3. Argentina renewed for five years an antidumping duty on certain mainland Chinese “new pneumatic rubber tyres” used on bicycles. The goods will be subject to a minimum free on board export price of $7.03/kg.

Brazil announced antidumping duties on three items are scheduled to expire Feb. 17, 2022: certain agricultural tires, “tempered and laminated automotive safety glass” and “knitted fabric of viscose fibres.” Traders must request a sunset review of these orders at least four months before the scheduled expiration date, HKTDC said.
