  • CUSMA motor vehicle averaging election for purposes of regional value content and labor value content. The Canada Border Services Agency on March 24 issued Memorandum D11-4-36, which provides general information on the Motor Vehicle Averaging Election for the purposes of calculating the Regional Value Content and the Labor Value Content under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement. It provides guidelines to file a Motor Vehicle Averaging Election under the CUSMA Rules of Origin Regulations and links to forms for filing.
  • CBSA issues notice of normal value and export price review for carbon steel welded pipe 3. The Canada Border Services Agency on March 24 initiated a normal value and export price review to update all normal values and export prices of certain carbon steel welded pipe exported to Canada from Vietnam by SeAH Steel Vina Corp.
  • CUSMA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2021 CUSMA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports. CUSMA is known as USMCA in the U.S.
  • Product Recall: Babyzen Yoyo bassinets manufactured in China recalled, for strangulation hazard.
