- CBSA begins expiry review for carbon and alloy steel line pipe from China. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on March 5 initiated an expiry review of its finding made on March 29, 2016, in Inquiry No. NQ‑2015‑002, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from China. As result of the CITT’s expiry review, the Canada Border Services Agency on March 8 initiated an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiration of the finding is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and/or subsidizing of the subject goods. CBSA will make a determination no later than July 30, 2021, and issue a Statement of Reasons by Aug. 13, 2021.
