  • CITT initiates final injury review of wheat gluten from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated on Dec. 24 an inquiry to determine whether the dumping of wheat gluten originating in or exported from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. CITT will issue its determination by April 22, 2021. This final injury inquiry was initiated further to a notice received from the Canada Border Services Agency stating that a preliminary determination had been made with respect to the dumping of the subject goods.
  • Product Recalls: Swirled Taper Candle Holders and Sofia Taper Candle Holders manufactured in China recalled, for fire, injury hazards; KitchenWorx By/Par FireRein Fire Protection Spray manufactured in Canada recalled, for fire hazard; Hampton Bay Mara 54-inch Ceiling Fans in Matte White and Matte Black manufactured in China recalled, for injury hazard.
