  • CBSA extends investigation of alleged dumping of wheat gluten from multiple countries. The Canada Border Services Agency on Nov. 5 extended the preliminary phase of its investigation into the alleged injurious dumping of wheat gluten originating in or exported from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania. Unusual circumstances contributed to the decision to extend the period from 90 days to 135 days, with the decision to issue a preliminary determination of dumping or to terminate the investigation now being made on or before Dec. 23.
  • Product Recalls: Royal Oak All Natural Clean-Fuel Non-Petroleum Charcoal Lighter Fluid manufactured in the U.S. recalled, for not being equipped with a flame arrestor, posing fire and burn hazards; Walker Edison Drawer Chests manufactured in China and Brazil recalled, for tip-over and entrapment hazards.
