The Canada government issued the following trade-related notice as of Oct. 30 (some may also be given separate headlines):

- Tariff preference levels. The Canada Border Services Agency Memorandum D11-4-22 was updated Oct. 28 to include information regarding the USMCA tariff preference levels. Also included are minor amendments to Appendix C of the Canada-Costa Rica Free Trade Agreement tariff preference levels as a result of the repeal of the Costa Rica Free Trade Zone regulations. Other “non-consequential technical amendments” also are included.
- FTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. Global Affairs Canada updated the Free Trade Agreement Tariff Preference Level Utilization 2020 textile and apparel utilization rates for imports and exports. As of July 1, former NAFTA TPL utilization data went into an archive, as USMCA took effect.
- Product Recalls: Various MG Chemicals epoxy products manufactured in Canada recalled, for not meeting child-resistant packaging requirements, posing a health hazard; CB2 Trace bookcases manufactured in Vietnam recalled, for injury hazard.
