  • Certain Goods Remission Order (COVID 19). The CBSA has issued Customs Notice 20-19, which provides information on Certain Goods Remission Order (COVID-19), SOR-2020-101, which allows for the relief of customs duty for eligible goods which were imported on or after May 5, 2020. Relief can be claimed at the time of importation or within two years of the date of importation. (here)

Belle Chemical Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide recalled due to lack of Bilingual Labelling and child-Resistant Packaging manufactured in the United States of America (here), Dexter Industries Rechargeable Battery Packs recalled due to burn hazard manufactured in China (here)
