  • CBSA issues notice of expiry review determination for certain carbon steel fasteners. The Canada Border Services Agency on Oct. 29, 2019, initiated an expiry review to determine whether the expiration of an order on the dumping and/or subsidizing of certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China and Taiwan would harm the domestic industry. It completed its review March 26, and determined that expiration is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China and Taiwan, and the subsidizing of certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China.
  • Product Recall: Satellite City Hot Stuff, Super T and Special T Cyanoacrylate Glues manufactured in the United States recalled, for lack of hazard information on the label and not being packaged in child resistant containers.
