  • CAED 2020 program software release and new CERS. The Canada Border Services Agency on Nov. 25 issued Customs Notice 19-22 to inform exporters and customs service providers that the new 2020 software release for the Canadian Automated Export Declaration program will be available for download on Dec. 9. The CAED program will be retired on June 20, 2020, and will be replaced by the Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) (see 1911250068).
  • NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. Global Affairs Canada updated the 2019 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
  • Product Recall: Cutek Extreme high-performance wood oil manufactured in Australia recalled, for not meeting consumer chemical products labeling and hazard information requirements.
