Canadian Solar and its affiliates, challenging the Commerce Department's final results of the countervailing duty administrative review on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China covering entries in 2016. #19-00178. Filed Sept. 24.
ME Global Inc., on the classification of steel grinding rods. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 7228.40.00, making it subject to 25% Section 232 tariffs. Triumph says it should have instead been classified under subheading 7326.11.00 and not subject to the tariffs. #19-00179. Filed Sept. 25.
International Imaging Materials, Inc., challenging CBP's denial of its NAFTA claim on its made-up textile articles as unlawful and unsupported by physical evidence. #19-00180. Filed Sept. 25.
Jam Products, Inc., on the classification of gold coins. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 7114.19.0000 (7.9%). Jam Products says it should have instead been classified under subheading 7118.90.0019 (free). #19-00181. Filed Sept. 26.

Appeals of CIT Decisions
The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Sept. 23-29:
New Image Global, Inc., appealing CIT's denial of its challenge of CBP’s procedure for weighing its tobacco products. CIT found CBP’s “indirect method” that included the weight of additives to be legally and scientifically valid (see 1907240009). #19-2444. Opened Sept. 26.
