CBP Bulletin Has 3 Ruling Notices, Lever-Rule Protection Application

CBP also said it received an application for "Lever-Rule" protection from Kymdan America. The company applied to prevent imports of mattresses meant for sale outside the U.S. that included the trademarks “KD KYMDAN SINCE 1954 (STYLIZED)” and “KD SINCE 1954 KYMDAN 100% NATURAL LATEX MATTRESSES INTERNATIONAL QUALITY YOUR COMFORT IS OUR BUSINESS & DESIGN.” CBP will grant such protection if it finds the parts are physically and materially different from the products intended for sale in the U.S.
