  • Expiry review, investigation of dumping of certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on Dec. 27, 2018, initiated an expiry review of its order made on Jan. 7, 2014, concerning the dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Romania. As a result of the CITT expiry review, the Canada Border Services Agency on Dec. 28, 2018, initiated an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiration of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of the subject goods. The CBSA will make a determination no later than May 24, 2019, and will issue a Statement of Reasons by June 7, 2019.
