  • The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) finds injury for cold rolled steel from China, South Korea and Vietnam. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today found that the dumping and subsidizing of cold-reduced flat-rolled sheet products of carbon steel, originating in or exported from China, South Korea, and Vietnam, have caused injury to the domestic industry (here).
  • The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiates injury inquiry for nitisinone capsules from Sweden. The CITT initiated an inquiry to determine whether the dumping of nitisinone capsules originating in or exported from Sweden has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry (here).
  • NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. DFAIT updated the 2018 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports (here) and exports (here).
  • Product Recalls. Loblaw Companies Limited recalls Joe Fresh Baby Girls’ Running Shoe manufactured in China (here), Miles Industrial Ltd recalls H5 Series Fireplaces manufactured in Canada (here), Navien Inc. recalls Propane Conversion Kit for Condensing Tankless Water Heater and Combination Boiler manufactured in South Korea (here), CLS Sales Inc. recalls Wood Pull Back Plane manufactured in China (here).
