  • CITT initiates inquiry into sucker rods from China. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on May 22 initiated a preliminary injury inquiry into a complaint by Dover Canada ULC - Alberta Oil Tool Division, of Edmonton, Alberta, that it has suffered injury as a result of the dumping and subsidizing of certain sucker rods from China. CITT’s inquiry is conducted pursuant to the Special Import Measures Act as a result of the initiation of dumping and subsidizing investigations by the Canada Border Services Agency (see 1805210001">1805210001). CITT will make a determination by July 17, 2018.
  • Product Recalls: Porsche Cars Canada Ltd. recalls My First Porsche wooden toy car manufactured in Poland, for choking hazard.
