Canadian Government Notices as of May 11

- CBSA issues statement of reasons for certain copper pipe fittings. The Canada Border Services Agency on May 10 issued its statement of reasons, after it issued a final determination with respect to the dumping and subsidizing of certain copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from the Vietnam on April 25.
- Exporter reporting. The Canada Border Services Agency has issued revisions to Memorandum D20-1-1, which outlines and explains the obligations, guidelines, and procedures for reporting goods that are exported from Canada. The revisions include: a reduction in the length of time a Summary Reporting Program (SRP) application is valid (from 5 years to 2 years); updates to the SRP contact information; and changes in style and formatting.
- Product Recalls: Meubles Adams et fils Inc. recalls Adams model Ride strollers manufactured in China, for weight structural failure hazard; P.K. Douglass Inc. recalls lobster water toys manufactured in China, for choking hazard; Munchkin recalls Waterpede bath toys manufactured in China, for choking hazard; Stroller Boutique recalls Anex Sport stroller manufactured in Poland, for hazard associated with excess barium.
