  • Cargo-export movements. The Canada Border Services Agency issued an April 19 revision to Memorandum D3-1-8, which outlines and explains the agency requirements and administrative policies regarding the report and control of cargo exported from Canada by air, highway, marine and rail carriers.
  • Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement rules of origin. The Canada Border Services Agency issued on April 18 editing revisions to Memorandum D11-5-6, which provides a stable link to the Department of Justice for the official version of the CIFTA Rules of Origin Regulations that are used to determine the entitlement of goods to preferential tariff treatment under the Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement (CIFTA).
  • Product Recalls: Shenzhen Wismec Electronics Co., Ltd. recalls Wismec Exo Skeleton vaporizers manufactured in China, for fire and burn hazards; Briggs & Stratton recalls Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner manufactured in China, for impact injury hazard; Wild & Wolf Ltd. recalls Petit Collage Musical Jumbo Wooden Xylophones manufactured in China, for choking hazard.
