Canadian Government Notices as of March 28
The government of Canada recently issued the following trade-related notices as of March 28 (some may also be given separate headlines):

- Forestry-related products average about $20 billion annually 2013-2016. Statistics Canada reports that exports of forestry-related products accounted for over 5% of the total value of Canadian exports from 2013 to 2016. Exports were led by softwood lumber (from $7.4 billion in 2013 to $9.9 billion in 2016), sulphate softwood pulp (from $4.5 billion in 2013 to $4.9 billion in 2016), and paper (from $3.4 billion in 2013 to $3.3 billion in 2016).
- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2018 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
- Product Recalls: The Source (Bell) Electronics Inc. recalls Nexxtech power banks manufactured in China, for fire and burn hazards; Nova Discount Hub recalls Cherish animal bath toys manufactured in China, for choking hazard.
