- Canadian international trade for September 2017. Statistics Canada reports that imports and exports decreased by 0.3%, marking a negligible change from August, essentially continuing Canada’s trade deficit with the world at $3.2 billion in September 2017.
- Vietnam: Certain copper pipe fittings. The Canada Border Services Agency on Oct. 27 launched investigations into whether or not certain copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from Vietnam are being sold at unfair prices in Canada and whether or not subsidies are being applied to the fittings by the government of Vietnam. The investigations follow a complaint filed by Cello Products Inc.
- Product Recalls: The Source (Bell) Electronics Inc. recalls Nexxtech TV Mounts manufactured in China, for injury or property damage hazards.
