AMS Amends Quality Standards for Imported and Domestic Peanuts

The Agricultural Marketing Service on Oct. 20 issued a final rule amending its minimum quality standards for imported and domestic peanuts. The amended regulations relax the allowance for damaged kernels in farmers stock peanuts when determining segregation, AMS said. The final rule takes effect Feb. 1, 2018.
