Synthos, S.A., challenging the International Trade Commission's final injury determination in the antidumping duty investigation on emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber from Poland. #17-00250. Filed Oct. 12.

SolarWorld Americas, Inc., challenging the final results of the Commerce Department's countervailing duty administrative review on crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China covering entries in 2014-15. #17-00251. Filed Oct. 12.

​Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Oct. 9-15:

Hartford Fire Insurance, appealing an Aug. 10 CIT decision that found it liable for $2.2 million on bonds Hartford argued were not enforceable contracts and violated the customs regulations. CIT found the errors didn’t invalidate them, in part because Hartford accepted premiums and submitted the bonds to CBP (see 1708140029). #18-1025. Opened Oct. 11.
