  • Canada invests in new market opportunities for mushrooms. The Canadian government announced an investment of up to $265,375 to help Mushrooms Canada promote and educate Canadian consumers on the nutritional benefits of fresh mushrooms, as well as to conduct a market development assessment of the Japanese market. Canada exported more than $220 million worth of mushrooms in 2016.
  • Product Recalls: Les Petits Mousses recalls three-drawer Vera storage units manufactured in Canada, for tip-over and entrapment hazards.
