  • International trade minister to meet with key stakeholders on Asia-Pacific markets. Minister of International Trade François-Philippe Champagne will be in Vancouver, British Columbia, Aug. 27-29, meeting with business leaders and key influencers regarding ways to maximize Canadian business opportunities and exports into the Asia-Pacific region. British Columbia is Canada's gateway to the Asia-Pacific and presents significant opportunities for trade expansion, a Global Affairs Canada news release said.
