Canadian Government Notices as of July 26
The government of Canada recently issued the following trade-related notices as of July 26 (some may also be given separate headlines):

- Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) proposed regulatory amendment. The Canada Border Services Agency on July 24 issued Customs Notice 17-25, announcing regulatory amendments and new regulations proposed by CBSA in support of the implementation of CUFTA, with a prospective implementation date of Aug. 1.
- Liquid dielectric transformers from Korea under expiry review by tribunal. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on July 24 initiated an expiry review for a May 31, 2016, continuing amendment to a Nov. 20, 2012 order, to determine if the continued or resumed dumping of liquid dielectric transformers from the Republic of Korea is likely to result in injury. On Dec. 22, 2017, the Canada Border Services Agency is scheduled to determine if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping.
- CIFA cancels registration of Thomas Canning Ltd. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has canceled registration of processed products company Thomas Canning Ltd., based in Ontario, because the company has ceased operations.
- Product Recalls: Magic Relighting Candles by Forum Novelties manufactured in China, for fire hazard, as re-igniting candles prohibited by Canada Consumer Product Safety Act; 6ixSlimes recalls various Slime toys manufactured in Canada, for boric acid toxicity levels.
