Alan Devlin, who was an acting deputy director in the Competition Bureau, left the commission Monday for private practice. Meier has been an acting deputy director in the Competition Bureau since November 2015. Ohlhausen also appointed her former attorney adviser Haidee Schwartz an acting deputy director within the bureau.
