More than half of U.S. broadband households with speeds under 1 Gbps would upgrade to gigabit-speed services if they were offered, said the industry research firm. Seven percent of those households have only one device connected via Ethernet, it said. Wi-Fi households own an average 5.7 computing devices and 8.1 connectable CE devices, said the researcher.
